Latest revision 30 October 1999 TJD 11476 = October 25, 1999 Bad DSELB and NSCALE in SHERB, MER, TTS, STTE data, Trigger Number 7822 The DSELB value (triggered detectors) and the NSCALE value (related to TTS) in the auxiliary data in the SHERB, MER, TTS, and STTE files for trigger number 7822 at start time = SCTIME(3,2,1) = (598A,EE3E,325B) = TJD/SoD = 11476/60990.2014 load time = SCTIME(3,2,1) = (598A,EE3E,39F1) = TJD/SoD = 11476/60990.2318 are different from the values in the other burst-type files (DISCSC, PREB, DISCLB, TTE, HERB) which seem to have the correct value. The reason is not understood. The incorrect DSELB value in the SHERB and TTS files for trigger number 7822 is "-65-3-10" = "01101011" which becomes the hex value 6B. The incorrect DSELB value in the MER and STTE files for trigger number 7822 is "-654321-" = "01111110" which becomes the hex value 7E. The correct DSELB value in the other files for trigger number 7702 is "-6---2--" = "01000100" which becomes the hex value 4. The incorrect NSCALE value in the SHERB, MER, TTS, and STTE files for trigger number 7822 is 0. The correct value is 2. In the auxiliary data in the telemetry, DSELB and NSCALE are one-byte words which occupy the two halves of the same two-byte word. The DSELH1,2,3,4 values in all files are 2,6,0,7. The SHERB and MER data are not complete; all other data types are complete. Trigger number 7822 was a cosmic GRB.
