Last revision 30 May 2000 Data End for BATSE TJD 11691 = 27 May 2000 Because of the bad decision by NASA upper management to end the GRO mission (because one of three gyros failed), the BATSE detector modules were turned off during the packet ending TJD/SoD 11691/00056.05; it could be said that the detectors were turned off at approximately 55 seconds after the start of TJD 11691. Quality flag 50 indicating high voltage off was added manually (because the telemetry bit(s) that indicate whether the high voltage is on or off is not affected by the command to turn off the modules) for the interval 11691/00056.05 - 11691/86399.99 and for the entire days following TJD 11691 for which any data were received. Some data were received afterward with count rates of zero. Only the housekeeping data were valid. The last trigger, number 8121, a cosmic GRB, occurred at TJD/SoD 11690/36093.
